I was an overweight child, and that followed me into my adulthood.
When I turned 43, I developed pre-diabetes and high blood pressure…all of which made me feel tired and sick every single day.
By the time I turned 60, I had tried what it seemed like a million ways to lose weight.
- I had rotated through Keto, Paleo, Atkins, WW, juicing, fasting;
- I had given up carbs, fat, salt, sugar; and
- I had spent my savings on meal deliveries, gym memberships and personal trainers.
But none of them helped me shed weight.
I was utterly miserable, so I finally gave in and convinced myself that I was destined to be fat.
But on one sleepless night, I came across a health segment on NBC News…
It talked about a Harvard doctor who dedicated 10 years of his life to finding the real root cause of unexplained weight gain…
And his biggest revelation was that age and genetics did not play a part in why women in their 40s, 50s and 60s don’t lose weight...
Nor was it the amount of carbs or sugar they eat…
Nor was it the amount of exercise they do.
The NBC segment also talked about how a regular husband named Tyler Miller stumbled upon a simple “30-Second Bedtime Routine” that worked quickly to help his wife lose 65 pounds…
Despite being skeptical, my heart told me to go for it and follow the same bedtime routine.
Within 5 months, I went from 259 to 142 pounds!
And it was far easier than I expected.
I ate all the foods that I love and I've not gained back any of the weight since.
Nowadays, I love what I see in the mirror…
I no longer have to worry about diabetes, my blood pressure or cholesterol levels…
My skin and joints have new elasticity…
My hair is fuller, thicker and shinier than ever before...
My extreme fatigue and stress have disappeared…
And my “zest for life” has come roaring back.
Best of all, I stand here now stronger, happier and more confident than I've felt in my whole life.
